Bodywork appealed to me initially because I wanted to contribute positively
to my community, wanted to spend my time doing something that would
be helpful to others. I enrolled at the Brenneke
School of Massage (Seattle, WA), where I completed the Professional
Licensing Program in 1993, and was licensed by the State of Washington
shortly thereafter. I began my practice in the summer of that same year,
setting up my office in the heart of the city next door to a longtime
Rolfer® (Ron McComb), who took me under his wing and showed me the
wisdom of his practice. Before long I was on my way to the Guild
for Structural Integration (Boulder, CO), where I completed their
Basic Training in January of 1996.
Over the years I have taken
many continuing education courses, (among them: Visceral Manipulation,
CranioSacral Therapy, and advanced S.I. workshops) always with the idea
of educating myself to become a better practitioner of Dr. Rolf’s
work. I am honored to share that knowledge with you, and also recognize
the profound gift of experience that those who have trusted me with
their process have bestowed.
